Trackside AI Systems is operated by William Wasenmiller as a sole proprietor. This policy explains what information we collect when you text a business that uses Trackside, book a demo, or contact us, and how it is used.
Information we collect
- Your mobile phone number and the content of your text messages
- Name and email address, if you provide them
- Vehicle details, the service you ask about, and appointment information
- Whether you have opted out of text messages
- Name, email and time you choose, if you book a demo with us
How we use it
- To reply to your questions about services, pricing and availability
- To schedule appointments and send confirmations and related follow-ups
- To pass questions to the business's staff when a person is needed
- To operate, secure and improve our messaging systems
How text messaging works
You start the conversation by texting a business that uses Trackside. We reply only to answer your inquiry. Some replies are written by an automated AI assistant and are limited to the business's own approved information. A person at the business can take over at any time. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of purchase.
No sale or marketing sharing of mobile information
Mobile phone numbers and text-messaging consent are not sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties except the providers needed to deliver the messages.
Service providers
We use providers to run the service: Twilio (message delivery), Cloudflare (message routing), Google (Google Workspace tools for storage, scheduling and calendars), and an AI model provider, currently OpenAI (to interpret messages and draft replies; message text is sent to it for that purpose). They may process information only as needed to provide their services to us.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect information from unauthorized access, loss or misuse, but no system is completely secure. We keep information as long as needed to provide the service, keep business records, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to stop text messages.
- Email us to ask what we hold about you or to request deletion.
